Kalia has long, purple hair. The more radiation builds up in her body, the lighter her hair becomes. Her appearance really depends on how much her body is being affected by the radiation she produces. Her eyes are naturally green, but they glow brightly whenever she uses her powers. She has freckles across her face and body that look normal when her powers aren't active. When she uses her abilities, her freckles glow in bright neon colors. The colors can change depending on how much power she is using.



She is naturally pretty skinny, but her body burns through energy and weight faster than most people. She can lose weight quickly when she uses her powers heavily or goes through long periods of radiation exposure. Even then, she usually does not look extremely unhealthy. Most of the effects are subtle at first, becoming more noticeable the harder her body is pushed.



Kalia’s biggest insecurity is probably the way she looks. She knows her body is affected by her powers, and even when the changes are small, she notices them. Her hair getting lighter, her weight changing, and the way her appearance can shift depending on how much radiation she's been using all make her feel like she's losing control over her own body. She doesn't always think she looks bad, but she does worry that others will notice the changes before she does.
